Biography Of The Late Mrs. Hillary Esenam Dzamefe

Hillary Esenam Dzamefe, aged 43 years, passed away on Thursday, July 4 2024 at the St. Dominic Hospital, Techiman.

Hillary was born on March 18, 1991 at the Apremdu Military Hospital, in Takoradi. She had her primary education in Kpetoe and later, Ho.

She gained admission to Our Lady Of Apostles(OLA) Senior High School in 1997 after successful completion of her basic education. Due to financial constraints, Hillary was unable to further her education to the tertiary level immediately she completed her Senior high education.

In 2002, 3 years after her SHS education, she enrolled in a Hotel Management diploma programme at Trans African College (I.C.M) in Accra.

She then secured a job as a Receptionist at the Maple Leaf Int. Hotel, Achimota. While working, she enrolled in a Front Office Management programme at the Hotel Catering and Tourism Training Institute (HOTCATT). Realizing her weakness at work, she enrolled in a computer literacy programme at NIIT. This propelled her into a new role at Golden Crown Communication and Secretarial Services. In 2006, she joined the Dashen Chambers as Head Secretary.

Hillary tied the knot with Mr. Charles Dzamefe in 2009. Together, they welcomed two sons into the world before relocating to Techiman in 2017.

She was a devoted christian and a member of the church choir and ushering department. She took delight in serving God. She was always the first to leave the house on Sundays in order to ensure everything was set for church service to begin. She was always ready to offer a helping hand when the need be. 

Hillary loved working in church and cherished praising the Lord. She served on several committees, and always enjoyed helping others. Hillary loved to read the word of God, praying for and with others, spending time with her family and always wore a beautiful smile.

She was a loving and caring person, a devoted wife, mother and friend, always thinking of others first. “To know her, was to love her”. 

Hillary lived to cherish her loving mother, husband, children Ellis and Eliot, siblings, cousins and her friends.
